Creator.io and its affiliates (collectively, "Creator.io") is an AI project focused on research and development of products and services for content creators, founded by Kajabi, LLC (“Kajabi”). Creator.io’s collection and processing of personal information through Creator.io websites, services, online stores, and applications that reference this Creator.io Privacy Notice (together “Creator.io Services”) is subject to the Kajabi Privacy Notice (the “Kajabi Privacy Notice”) as supplemented and modified by this Creator.io Privacy Notice (together, the “Privacy Notice”). By using the Creator.io Services, you are consenting to the practices described in the Privacy Notice.

Data Sharing with Kajabi

Creator.io may share customers' personal information with, and receive personal information from, Kajabi and its affiliates. Furthermore, personal information collected by Creator.io may be combined with personal information about Kajabi customers, and that combined information may be used by both Creator.io and Kajabi to operate, provide, develop, and improve Kajabi’s and Creator.io’s products and services. For example, if you use a payment card that is saved in your Kajabi Account at a Creator.io checkout, then your Creator.io transaction information will be associated with your Kajabi account and that data may be used by both Creator.io and Kajabi.

Collection of Personal Information

Generally, in addition to the way Kajabi collects personal information, Creator.io collects names and email addresses during the signup process.

We also obtain personal information from other sources, which we often combine with personal information we collect either automatically or directly from you.

We may receive the same categories of personal information as described above from the following sources and third parties:

• Service Providers: Our service providers that perform services solely on our behalf, such as payment processors and analytics providers. For example, we receive personal information from our service providers that conduct marketing or analytics activities.

• Business Partners: Our business partners whom we partner with to provide joint promotional activities or co-branded services may collect personal information in connection with these activities and may share some or all of the information with us.

• Publicly Available Sources: We may collect personal information about you that we do not otherwise have, including contact information and product interest information, from publicly available sources. We may combine this information with the information we collect from you directly. We use this information to contact you, to send you advertising or promotional materials or to personalize our Creator.io Services, to pre-populate online forms, and to better understand the demographics of our users.

• Other Third Parties: From time to time, we may receive information about individuals from third parties. For example, we may obtain information from our marketing partners or from third parties to enhance or supplement our existing information about you.

How Creator.io Uses that Personal Information

Separate from the way Kajabi collects personal information, Creator.io uses personal information to better provide you the Creator.io Services and improve performance of the same. In addition, Creator.io also may use personal information in the following ways:

• To fulfill or meet the reason you provided the information, for example to process payment in connection with your transactions or to respond to inquiries.

• To process your registration for our Creator.io Services, including verifying your information to ensure its accuracy and validity.

• To identify you as a potential candidate and review your application for a position with us.

• To communicate with you, including via social media messages, email, text message and/or telephone calls.

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features and functionality of the Creator.io Services.

• To send you important information regarding the Creator.io Services, such as certain changes to our terms, conditions, policies, and/or other administrative information. 

• For our marketing purposes.

• To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Creator.io Services, technology assets, and business.

• For our internal business purposes, such as data analysis, customer research, audits, fraud prevention, developing new products and/or features, enhancing the Creator.io Services, improving our Creator.io Services and identifying usage trends.

• To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations and our Terms of Use, or to comply with applicable laws.

• For purposes disclosed at the time you provide your personal information or as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Notice.

What Choices Do I Have?

If you do not want to receive promotional email communications from Creator.io, please follow the unsubscribe instructions in those communications.

Users Outside the United States

If you are accessing the Creator.io Services from outside the United States (U.S.), please be aware that information collected through the Creator.io Services will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States. Your use of the Creator.io Services or providing us with any information constitutes your consent to the transfer to, and processing of, your personal information in the U.S. as set forth in the Privacy Notice.
